Democratic performance of parliaments in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro

demperformanseFaculty of Political Science at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Science at University of Podgorica and non- governmental organization Sarajevo Open Centre together realized scientific project entitled ‘Comparative analysis of democratic performances of parliaments of Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro. Project was realized as a part of Regional Research Promotion Programme, that was co- ordinate by Institute for Middle and East Europe at University in Fribourg, Switzerland, and leader of the project was prof. Doc. Slaviša Orlović from Faculty of Political Science from Belgrade.

Bosnian and Herzegovinian team for this project consisted of: doc. Dr. Goran Marković (Law Faculty, East Sarajevo), MA Maja Sahadžić (International University of Sarajevo), MA Damir Banović (Law Faculty, Sarajevo) and MA Saša Gavrić ( Sarajevo Open Centre).

As a part of this research the aim was to explore next two questions: legal and controlling functions of parliaments, transparency in their work as well as influence of international actors on their work. Results were presented at the conference in Belgrade, round table in Sarajevo and Podgorica. All essays are published together in joined book in Bosnian, Monenegrian, Serbian and Croatian as well as English language.
